So Burger King is going to begin testing reusable containers. This will go over really well.
WBRZ Burger King
WBRZ Burger King
quote:
Customers will be offered a choice to go with old packaging or opt in for reusable packaging for menu items such as sandwiches, soft drinks and coffee. They can then return the reusable sandwich container or beverage cup to Burger King restaurants to be cleaned and reused. Those who opt-in will be charged a small deposit fee at the time of their purchase, and once the packaging is returned, their fee will be refunded to them.

Burger King is awful, their burgers have an overwhelming onion taste.

% of people that opt-in for this? <1%?

When done right a BK burger is good. The problem is they hire the worst employees.

Those are going to look awful scattered on Louisiana highways.

Maybe BK should focus on getting orders right and getting people through the line in less than 20 minutes before they start guiding the lily

Great timing to come out with this during a pandemic

They consistently have the worst service, it doesn’t matter if you’re in New Orleans, New York or fricking Mexico, they will be slow as hell.

So you have to pay more to get who knows what kind of dirty, germ infected container...and then you have to spend extra time to return it for the deposit.
This sort of virtue signaling is for people who likely don't even eat at BK.

When BK workers are fired due to incompetence, Popeyes must hire them.

I haven’t had BK in 25 years

They should try testing some edible food.

And you’re a better man for it.

I really don’t understand how they stay in business. My local one is a ghost town and you never hear someone say “Let’s go to Burger King.”
