Bullet-riddled truck with dead passenger inside shuts down I-10 West near Prairieville.

APSO said deputies responding to a report of a blue truck blocking I-10 West about three miles past LA 73 near Prairieville found a dead passenger and bullet holes in the truck.
Officials added the driver was taken to the hospital but the condition is unknown. The other victim’s name has not been released. DOTD reported the closure just before midnight.

I-10 is still closed from before 73, north, to aboot a half-mile past Highland. Closed for aboot 6 miles

I left 15 years ago to Lafayette. Had to drive over for a soccer game last night. You couldn't pay me a million dollars to move back. Traffic is frickin ridiculous. We stopped on Siegen to get a bite to eat and it was like the ghetto.
