100% because I remember clearing about 60k in their actual expenditures and somehow the frick nut author failed to realize they are putting away 36k a year into their 401k which is still their money.

Evidently a few people in this thread is getting scammed on their child care.
You very obviously have no fricking clue about what child care costs in this state, let alone anywhere else.
What do you get out of looking like a moron basically every time you post?

Why are we ignoring the $60,000 mortgage???
You could pay off a $1.5 million dollar house in 3 years at that rate.
That is the most glaring lie they placed in there.
Edit - I thought these were list monthly, going to to go somewhere else and be stoopid now.

Thoughts?
I think this is at least 2 years old
Also, after everything is spent and paid for, retirement taken care of. Kids taken care of. Food taken care of. 3 vacations taken care of. They still have $7,300 left over. Yeah, that’s not terrible

The Kia K900 is ranked higher than BMW 6 series. Lexus, Infinity or Audi are all 3 better quality than BMW.
Would never get caught dead in a Kia.

Say what? That's a $5k a month payment. That's only $180k payed into principle and interest in 3 years.

They are splurging in a few areas, but they are putting away over 40K a year and if there's an employee match its even more.
Posted on 3/26/19 at 1:55 pm to OweO
There is no context to this if we do not know where the couple lives. A 1.5MM home in NOLA versus NY or San Francisco are two very different things.
The car payments seem excessively high. Childcare could be spot on with private schools.

I’d take that childcare rate all day every day.

IRS limits how much you can put into 401k...when this BS Instagram post was made it was 18k per year
Looks like it's 19k now.
