So you came back to see if you got the attention you were seeking and are pleased to see in fact you are receiving the attention you were seeking. Got it.

I've checked the last few days in central MS. BL is not significantly cheaper than any other brand? At Krogers it was on sale for $19, but the same quantity of ML was on sale for the same price.
If the other beer companies play this strategically, discounting their beers will keep driving BL's downward spiral...

The strategy here is to do nothing. Don't take away the shovel

god, for your own sake, i pray you don't own your own business...

why would you discount a product that now has a higher demand due to a competitor in crisis? dropping the price of theirs doesn't guarantee BL dropping the price of theirs any more than they apparently are, all it does is guarantee you lost potential profit....

While also claiming the people boycotting Bud Light are doing it solely to seek attention.
I was never a big BL drinker. So the "boycott" is easy for me because I rarely ever purchased BL before all of this. But I do find this whole event interesting simply from a business/societal standpoint. BL was the top selling product in the market, based on really little more than name recognition and mass availability. They then, foolishly, gave their customers a reason to not purchase their product...in a market where their product is very easily replaceable.

"while supplies last"
so what, until the year 3035?

FWIW, i think lumping in trannies with the lesbian/gay crowd may end up hurting that group in the long run.
I still don’t know why the gay community allows this. It’s 2023, no one gives a shite if you’re gay or not. It’s the T letter that has everyone fired up. Maybe it has a lot to do with the T letter keeping the other letters in the spotlight?

I am not saying that you should discount other light beers in your store, but the other international beer companies should.
They could take advantage of BL's social drama and desperate attempts to regain their customers. If other companies give customers similar discounts, it will guarantee that these former BL people won't go back.
So, they may lose a slight bit of profit, but gain in market shares and future customers.

It's not uncommon for brands looking to expand market share to reduce price to sale more quantity. It isn't a terrible idea. Obviously there is a decent margin in bulk beer manufacturing to give a temporary discount to gain new customers. I hope you don't own your own business.
Personally, I don't drink any of the crap beer brands.
And if any of the beer brands I do drink advertise any sort of sexually deviant activity, I would quit buying those as well. I'm at the store to buy beer, not ideology or have some dumbass agenda shoved down my throat.

I’m still sitting here wondering why anyone thought it makes good business sense to base your marketing strategy upon a sexual fetish held by approximately 2-3% of the adult population when your product is only consumed by adults?
I mean, I’m not sure I’d qualify it as changing their base marketing strategy so much as adding another prong to the targeted approaches…. Not arguing whether you can have feelings about that or not, just noting the swap was pretty slim in their huge campaign

I was at a wedding yesterday and the bartender didn’t even have BL as a beer choice

I tend to agree.
At this point in 2023 most people are numb to the corporate virtue signaling with respect to homosexuality. But the "trans" movement is bridge too far for many. Not wholly because it is an offense to general moral norms, but because it is an offense to logic. One simply does not become the opposite sex/gender based upon NOTHING more than their own subjective belief. That is still the case even if they choose to remove/replace their male/female genitalia. Even without a penis, vagina, breasts, your chromosomal make up (with VERY RARE exception) is either male or female. The even greater repulsion is the pushing of the ideology on children that far too young and immature to rationalize this stupidity and may be coerced in to making life altering choices based on what is essentially the latest "fad".
