High-paying jobs?

Cashier = $18/hr
Restroom Crew = $21/hr
Department Manager = $31 - $33/hr
Gift Manager / Car Wash Manager = 125K /yr
General Manager = 175 - 250K /yr

+$2 - $4 shift diff for nights and weekends.

If you were a HS/College kid working at Buc-ee's then I'd think you were doing pretty good for yourself.

No Buc-ees has ever been shut down yet, but good odds the Louisiana versions will be the first.

Winn Dixie just shuttered its 13 Louisiana stores reinforcing what a shite state this is.

The one on Tchoupitoulas is open as well as the one in River Ridge. Your doom and gloom schtick is so tiresome.

Well, touche. 2 out of 13 of a bottom tier supermarket are still operating in LA. This will turn the state around, and the loop around Baton Rouge is just around the corner!

Doom and gloom is easy with Louisiana. All the state has ever done is show me, for decades, how the state can immeasurably frick up a wet dream. But, culture! That's the most tired Louisiana schtick out there.

True, but it's every post with him. I live in the cesspool so I can look for any bright spots.

When you stop for fuel do you ever go inside the business? Or do you just pay at the pump and get back on the road?

Stick to Buccees, because Winn Dixie isn't a bright spot unless it's on fire.

The previous reason they skipped over Louisiana in years past was 100% political/ corruption related

was it JBE, who was term limited? or did they finally just payoff the politicians?

Ruston and Lafayette are having a battle of cultures, North vs South, Coonass vs Redneck, Hill Toppers vs Swamp Donkeys. Who's Bucees will open first

This is stupid…battle of cultures? Who cares which one opens first

I'm not so sure Ruston is prepared for the traffic if it's anything like the Buc-ee's Sevierville.

Bro that's the Gatlinburg/Smoky Mountain visitor traffic. Ruston has nothing nowhere near close to anything like that. It'll be busy as I-20 is heavily traveled, but nothing like Sevierville.
