I’m glad I got away from the mini-storage business. We had 48 doors with ropes and loops just like in the pictures.

His interview this morning was bullshite, he said the FBI said it was a noose, but a non functional noose, then it is not a noose you dumbass. It's another knot, there are plenty of uses for loop knots that don't tighten, like as a handle for rope that can pull a door down. This guy is a joke.

I'm still confused about what the actual crime would have been. Trespassing? Has anyone seen an actual crime cited for hanging a noose if that had been what really happened?

Had it really be a noose and they found out who did it, they 100% would have been charged with a hate crime and spent time in prison.

Ok, but what is the crime? If you have a KKK member kill a black man for being black, the underlying crime is murder that is also deemed a hate crime because it was done because he was black. Hanging a noose isn't a crime...so what would the underlying crime have been even if someone had hung a noose? The Alabama Code looks like it enhances penalties for crimes motivated by racism.
