I was once told by an old man that a woman will never leave a man until she has another on deck. So far I've found this to be 100% true
I’ve always had a similar saying, and it’s a door that swings both ways:
“Men don’t leave pussy for no pussy, and women don’t leave dick for no dick.”

. I get it, your brother is justifiably heartbroken. In my younger years I had the same disillusion that any woman who was into a guy for resources was superficial, a gold digger, etc. But as I got older it became clear that this is the way evolution shaped us. Can't call a woman suoerficial for wanting resources when men do the same thing with attractiveness.
Sorry but this is fricking retarded. If she was expecting some type of lifestyle that they couldn’t afford because he wasn’t earning enough, then she should have gotten a damn job. A women is perfectly capable of obtaining “resources” just as effectively as a man these days.

They marry for assets but still frick Chads.
I am very clear with women that I'm wise to their ways. If women aren't evil per se, they do at least have a strong instinct for their own safety and comfort that's incompatible with any other system of ethics.
Women also have a very Darwinian mating instinct that leads them to pursue sex with any lantern-jawed protagonist type they meet, unless they've been harshly disciplined.
They understand little beyond fear.
Articulating these things has never kept me from getting laid, and if I ever have a son he'll be educated in this philosophy.

Her excuse (or his interpretation of her excuse) is BS. As others have said, there’s another man. No woman with young kids & no job would leave her husband with “I need more time for my life.”
That said, what man is willing to take on an unemployed married mom? She’s in for a rude awakening when her new dude doesn’t leave his wife like she expects.

See this is how men think because we're men. It's natural for us to just go out and work.
But in a woman's eyes, having to go out and get a job while raising two kids is against everything that evolution built over millions of years.
What if OP's brother was making $30k when they got married. Two kids, 10 years later, he's making $35k. In many women's eyes, they are going to think the husband is not pulling in the resources that is expected for the level of attractiveness the woman is providing.
In her eyes she's giving him her looks and raising two kids, but he's not reciprocating with providing the resources to balance out.
Would be the same thing if a guy was making $500k and his formally attractive wife turned into a 300 lb slob.

If she's good looking, many. You're trying to think like a man from a woman's POV.

Raising kids should be a shared activity between both parents. Each partner should have equal responsibility just as much as they have equal responsibility to provide for their family.

Fortunately, he has a good shot of getting 50/50 custody of the kids. I have noticed this is becoming the norm, as it should be in most cases.
No-fault divorces are a cancer on our social fabric, imo. The person, usually the wife, has no financial repercussions for leaving.

Tell your Bro it's all about the kids. Take a few months to "drown in misery" then put his big boy pants on and mtf on.
There are good women out there and vice versa

Women with kids who initiate divorce for no reason should have their heads shaved

Aww they say uhh
A black man is a pimp
Well let me tell you the biggest pimp
On planet motherfrickin' Earth, is her momma
It's her momma that told her,
"Get a man that got a good job girl,
Make sure he got a good car girl,
Make sure he can take you out and buy you somethin' girl"
What happened to just fallin' in love with a dude with a bus pass
Just 'cause you loved the dude
But I'm the pimp motherfricker
I gotta be the player

This is true but, at least in my case, 50/50 was used as a bargaining chip to get a bigger chunk of assets. Because of bad life choices over the past few years, the ex is moving to a 1 bedroom apartment so the kids will be with me 100% of the time now anyway. I pay almost every expense for them and I’m going to have to pay for their college. All the while, I will never say a negative thing to them about their mother.
At least her Facebook friends have her back.

So sorry to hear about your brother's marriage breaking up. I really am. I'm a carryover from the silent generation and I have watched with great concern the systematic destruction of traditional values especially as it impacted the nuclear family. Your brother's sad experience with betrayal is occuring everywhere. It hurts to watch a family disintegrate, especially when children are involved. Unfortunately we live in a culture of disposability. We throw away our marriages (and unborn babies) like we throw away our styrofoam cups. It's really sickening.
But I digress. Your brother needs you. He needs you bad. So I would make sure I stay close to him during this awful period in his life. Be there for him and love him. Gut-wrenching to say the least.....and trust me we know.
God Bless!

Your brother's soon to be ex-wife provided him with, hopefully, wonderful, healthy children. If that's the one thing he gets out of the marriage, then it was worth it, and he should be gracious for that alone.
