There is usually a thread once or twice a month about where to get decent dress shirts on here.

Brooks Brothers does this 2-3 times a year and I just got the email so thought i’d pass the information on.

Sale is good in-store and online.

I pulled the trigger yesterday. They had an additional $25 off if you spent a certain amount as well.

I do this deal about twice a year and my shirt collection is getting out of control

Who still buys "off-the-shelf" shirts?

I’d do that with their polos, but not a huge fan of their button downs

I have a very normal body type. Their Milano is a great slim fit and their Regent is a looser fit for more casual looking shirts, but still not baggy at all.

My really nice formal dress shirts I buy at Nordstrom and get tailored, but I need every day wearers for work that I don't care about spilling coffee on or blowing out the elbows.

Yeah. I have a athletic build. I don't need a tailor to work around my beer gut.

Well I was going back and forth on Milano vs Regent fit. Sounds like Milano is better for a true slim fit feel?

I dress up around 3x/year. My one BB shirt with my 1 BB tie for my 1 BB suit is just fine. I’ll buy another in around 10 years.

I love brooks brothers but the last time I did this was about a year and a half ago and all four shirts have torn in the exact same spot on the sleeve. You’re supposed to be able to wash these shirts like normal.

Wash on cold and rewear without washing if there’s no smell or spills/stains.

People over wash shite. Yes you can wash them, it doesn’t mean you should twice a week.

I wash my clothes after I wear them like a normal human should.
