After the suspension rods went out twice now on my 2 year old Samsung piece of shite, I remembered reading on here about how great the USA made Speed Queens are. Washed 2 loads so far and this thing is fantastic. It seems to be built like a tank. No shaking at all while it's spinning, and it actually fills completely with somewhere around 30 gallons of water. I highly recommend it over the high efficiency Chinese tree hugger crap at the big box stores. I must be getting old when I get excited over a damn washing machine. Now I just need an Instapot.

that is what I will be getting on the next round as well...Napoleon recommends them from top to bottom and I think he is a pretty heads-up guy.

Actually it only comes in 2 models, manual controls, like mine, and electronic controls. The manual is around $900, but I really believe I may not have to buy another one for the rest of my life, and I'm 40. Didn't ask what the electronic one cost. They have a pretty good website. Just Google Speed Queen.

All the same shite.

I work and pay my own water bill so I'll use as much damn water as I please. Until water is $4/gallon I give zero fricks. I'm sure climate change will melt a couple glaciers next year to compensate for my wasteful laundry usage.

I was wondering which washing machine was best to use with my ExOfficio boxers.

Tough shite if you get your water from a ground water aquifer.

Hey man, just cause you can't level a washing machine don't be shitting on all the others. My Kenmore elite (LG) is fantastic after 5 years and is rock solid with no vibration.

Also consumer reports show LG with a 5% rate of failure and speed queen is 10% .
