I have an olive green fridge in my garage that came with the house. The owners had the house built in 1981 and brought it with them when they moved to Texas from New Jersey, so it's a minimum of 42 years old. Still running like a champ. The previous owners said that they would take it, but they were afraid that if they unplugged it that it wouldn't work again.

Back in the day, a kid would risk the "quick fuse" possibility of a regular black cat, and throw it out of his hand. If it was in fact a quick fuse, that kid would learn of a painful stinging sensation on his fingers, shake it off and move on.
Now, those M80s in your pic, was a different story. After witnessing it's destructive force just one time, that same kid would NOT take that same chance he took with the black cat. Fingers would be missing.

Nope, It was 70 years ago and the farm is gone too.
