Didn't see this posted here, but just watched the first video and it is wild how much the company and the local police essentially do all of the wrong things.

Description from YT

"In this video, I got an email from a fan saying their dad had spent his entire life collecting Star Wars lego sets, and now it's known to be the world's largest Star Wars lego collection ever worth around $200,000. However, the entire thing got stolen from him by a lego company called "Bricks and Minifigs." We basically try to nicely ask for his property back, and they said no, so it looks like we have to get it back the hard way! Enjoy!"

They owner of the Metairie and BR locations is good people. It's a wild industry for sure. He has grown men that literally come in everyday to check out what people traded in from the day before. Every... day......

Why is the top right corner of the video blurred out for much of the beginning?

I’ve been watching Reckless Ben since this came out and been following the story closely. The second video infuriates me because of those power hungry Mormon cops who protect their own. Those cops are so corrupt and actively help the criminals (the two owners of BAM) since they’re devout Mormons too.

Ben had to flee to Mexico because there’s a warrant out for his arrest if he goes back home. Those owners are trying everything they can to get him arrested so they won’t be served. They framed him for having drugs and even had a swat team invade his house looking for stolen Legos.

There’s supposed to be a part 3 out soon.

Here’s part two. 2.5 million views and was uploaded 2 days ago. Bottom line is that Cops will do whatever they want to you, and there’s nothing you can do about it.

The police released a video full of lies and Ben just responded to it

Watched that last night. They also had one where the CEO sent a letter to all the stores basically for damage mitigation and to tell all the stores that they’re in the right. Ben got ahold of the leaked letter and went off.
I got on the Corpus Christi BAM FB page, and they took away the commenting feature so they wouldn’t be blasted in the comments. That was exactly what was to be done per the letter. They’re suppressing the truth.

Yea saw all of that. I even subscribed to Ben's patreon last week to see episode 2. He says episode 3 is nuts. Can't wait

BAM is pretty much cooked

I don’t know what else Ben can do. No matter what happens BAM reputation is ruined. How hard is it to give the guy his 200k collection back?

300 franchisees need to sue the CEO

The GFM to repay the family and pay legal bills is over $200K. Also, Ben said it wasn't really $200K because some of the stuff was sold and paid out under the old store owners. Probably closer to $60 to $80K he said, which makes the CEO and new store owners' actions even dumber

Thank you for clearing that up for me. One question I have is why this story hasn’t made national headlines yet? Yeah, it’s pretty viral of YouTube, but this should be talked about on the nightly news.

Another I question I have is why haven’t any lawyers taken up his case against the police in Utah? He has a pretty good case against those scumbags.

This has popped up on my news feeds a lot the last few days. Didn't really pay too close attention, but just scanned through the Youtube videos..

I don't understand with the contract they have and the list of all the sets, why they can't sue the new owners for more than 10k

Well they "bought" 10k worth of legos from the original owner 10 times so they could individually sue for 10k each. Assuming that is the full amount, theres 100k at least left.

Ben said today that a lot of the top law firms in the country are reaching out to him after his latest video about the police. As you said, it looks like a pretty good case. The one cop even said on dash cam that he knew they didn't have drugs during that one stop but wanted to scare them a little bit. Insane

Imagine how bad the audio the cops redacted is

This attorney has been on it and gives some good details about the lawsuit the former franchisee filed
