If nobody has them, they aren’t really an issue. Pit bulls are clearly a huge problem because they’re deadly and everyone has them

They've never actually killed one (a pit bull).
You might want to rethink that. A lot of us live out in the country, Pit bulls get dumped out in the country and are not adoptable. And they are dispatched, especially where there is no animal control officer or facilities.
I know of two we've killed.
