From reading this thread, the escapee was last seen 2 to 33 days ago, is believed to have been captured or killed, and may be in a town somewhere in the southern half of Texas.

From what I am seeing elsewhere, the 5 killed were a grandfather and 4 grandsons (one was 18 and the other adult). 3 of the grandsons were brothers.
