I did same thing until a cop pulled me over just for that. Was crazy expensive ticket and then my license was flagged even though I paid ticket. Had to go get copy that I paid for flag removal. Was too much BS

Pennsylvania, Louisiana and any other car inspections states suck, long live the free driving in only front brakes no exhaust don’t care no inspections state of Ohio it’s cold as frick but no inspections well e check but that’s shits a joke!

Move to Mississippi….we discontinued our inspection program a couple of years ago.

Is SE LA the only area in the country that calls them brake tags? When I read someone say brake tag online I always expect them to have the most yat or chalmette accent.

Brake tags are ONLY in Orleans Parish. Everyone else gets a registration sticker. That is only because NOLA started it before the state did

In Orleans Parish it is a brake tag and was around before the state began issuing inspection stickers.
A Yat will always say brake tag even if they move to California.

I thought an expired inspection sticker was a secondary offense, and you couldn't be pulled over for that. You could only get a ticket if you got pulled over for something more serious.
Usually if you get a ticket for it, go to court and show proof that you got a new one and they will reduce it to a seat belt violation.
Anyway, the glue on mine was too weak, and it fell off. I assume it's still valid, even though it fell off a couple of years ago.
