How old are you?
If middle age then testosterone. As levels drop, causes the fat collection in abdomen.

Actually only have 2 squirrels. The raccoons will clean it out at night. We have heavy bird traffic and try to only put out what they will eat in one day. Just add new food each morning

Put plain roasted peanuts in the shell. Unsalted. We put handful daily out in our two platform feeders. The woodpeckers and blue jays love them. The blue jays will pick them up and shake them to find the one they want and fly off with the whole peanut shell. We also put out suet and suet pellets. It's more expensive but changed to the shelled sunflower seeds and has cut down on lot of the mess. Tractor supply sells it. Can get boxes of unsalted peanuts from Sam's. Platform feeders with screen is best to cut down on the amount of food wasted. Also allows good picture opportunities

re: What would it take for you to go to the ER?

Just as public service announcement, if someone feels they are legit having a heart attack then call 911. Do not drive or let spouse drive. I have seen multiple bad outcomes from this scenario. EMS has meds, defibrillator, and do CPR if needed. Even family can do CPR but can't if driving.

I usually double or triple the number bc serving size is small compared to what most people consider glass of wine or hard liquor

re: Any baw buy their S.O lab grown diamonds?
Posted by Goldietiger on 11/25/23 at 8:50 pm to lsu xman
I have a lab grown 8 ct diamond bracelet and I can tell no visible difference in my comparable sized bracelet that is mined diamonds. I wear the lab grown bracelet daily and no one would know. The lab grown diamonds are marked from what I understand and there is no resale value. I decided the cost was worth it as I knew it would get almost daily wear and CZ dulls and scratches. There would be no trading up on a lab grown ring either. I would ask your potential bride would she want a bigger ring that is lab grown or a smaller diamond that is mined. Find a wholesaler to buy a diamond. Do not go to any chain jewelry stores.

Scars take up to a year to fade. Lot of pics online are just at the follow up visit so still fresh. Also depends on how the person scars. If fair skinned, scars fade well. If olive complexion or dark hair, scars will be darker. Basically if other surgery scars didn't fade well or developed keloid then will likely not scar well.

Don't know what all testing you have had but there are multiple things that can cause chronic cough. Did you have Covid? If you haven't had gastroscope then need one along with swallowing study. Reflux can cause cough. See ENT, allergist, and pulmonary. Assume you are being treated for asthma and using inhalers. Make sure following directions on inhalers such as using spacer and rinsing mouth/throat after. Need complete allergy testing along with IgG,IgE. Chronic illness absolutely affects mental health and can be isolating. Find therapist that works for you and never too late to find someone to share your life with.

How old are your children? I know you are grieving and difficult living in home you shared with your wife and reminders of her everywhere. My thoughts are regarding your children and a big move away from the things they know, friends, school. Loss of their mother is traumatic then adding moving on top of that. Are they old enough to give any input? Children are resilient but I wouldn't make any rash decisions right now. Seek out support from friends and family. Keep children involved in their routine as much as possible and give them opportunity to talk about their mother and keep dialogue open. Although painful as it may be for you, keep the memory alive of their mother. I Am so sorry for your loss and it's easy to question and fell God has forsaken you. I certainly won't attempt to answer those questions but I agree with you that at my lowest points I have also felt the Lord speaking to me that he is indeed there and take comfort in that.
re: Why is abortion such a huge deal?
Posted by Goldietiger on 6/27/22 at 4:18 pm to Palmetto98
Read up on how abortions are done at specific stages of pregnancy. It's been proven babies feel pain in the womb. Late term abortions are particular horrific and if the baby is born alive it's just left aside with no intervention until it dies. Birth control pills were in the beginning stages when roe vs wade came down. Now with the many birth control options, it's no excuse for accidents. Adoption is viable option. Rape victims can obtain the morning after pill. There are even tests done early very early in pregnancy that can test for major genetic disorders etc. i am
Totally against late term abortions. 12-15 weeks is long enough to decide if only option and if they need the abortion that bad let them travel to another state. Regardless of the ruling, abortion can be obtained if a person feels that's their only option for whatever reason. But I again urge all these people protesting and arguing for abortion to actually see what happens to these innocent children with no anesthetic

re: Living With Your SO Before Marriage. Smart or Sin?
Posted by Goldietiger on 3/8/22 at 2:39 pm to PropofolPapi
I did not live with 2nd hubby. Married 25 years. As far as my boys, I prefer they at least be engaged prior to moving in together. I think of it from point of view that If it was my daughter that I would want a least some show of commitment with the intent of marriage. I have seen too many women spend years and years with a man and never get man to propose and finally take step to marriage. So I don’t have a issue with them living together long as they believe this is the one. I haven’t made any of them sleep separately at our house or on vacations once the girlfriends were above 18 and their little brother was like 14 and knew not to make inappropriate comments about a girl being in his brother’s room.

Generally speaking for heart patients, low HR and low BP is not concerning to me UNLESS symptomatic and how often. i suggest take your BP twice a day and bring log to your next appointment. If your heart muscle is weak or if you have had a MI, then low HR and low BP is the goal
