Horrible comparison. How many Jewish refugees in the late 30's where going around shooting up theaters and blowing themselves up with suicide vests in crowded public places?

Have you ever seen the disfigured body of a preteen suicide bomber, after the fact?

They used to give their kids grenades because Americans became comfortable letting the kids walk up to the convoys to get an MRE. Walk up and BOOM.

Everything sounds great in theory. Real life sometimes takes twists. The risk is too high to just allow free access to this country to certain people.

Now to be honest, I'm very conflicted on this subject. I'm Christian, and had to pray on this topic yesterday. What side should I be on? Should I go into protect my family mode, or should we risk it all for the chance to convert some of them? I don't know what Gods will is on this, so I plan to pray on it a lot more.

Pretty sure every one of these refugees are being watched like a hawk. Just because this agency lost one doesn't mean the feds don't know every time he sneezes.

5% of 3 million is still 150,000 people that WANT TO.

I'm all for helping legit refugees. We can set up camps in the Middle East and send them everything they need. There's no need to bring them here. The risk is simply too high.

I, too, think it's a bit amusing that guys like Huckabee, who are supposedly devout Christians, want to deny sanctuary to those truly in need.

The ironic part is that God has everything to do with this, and nothing.

If he exists, he will continue his track record of doing nothing about anything.

The sad thing about Huckabee is that he'll go to his grave believing every insane thing he's said. At least Ted Cruz is smart enough to know how terrible and incendiary he is for the sake of a couple of poll points.

I agree. Several people have tried to make that comparison and it's not even in the same ballpark.

It's not the fact that we don't want them here because they're brown, it's the fact that there's no way for us to verify their identities and/or affiliations. We've already seen what 8 motivated individuals can do in 15-20 mins so why even take a chance with bringing in 10's of thousands. The juice isn't worth the squeeze.

And I'll tell you another thing. If one of these "refugees" commits an act of terror, the Fast and Furious cover up will look like child's play compared to the cover up that will happen as the result of a terror attack.

That's the problem you're not seeing. It doesn't take 3 million to be a problem. This Paris attack was carried out by like 8 guys. The Boston Bombing was carried out by 2. 9/11 was carried out by 19. Then there's also the multiple instances of "lone gunmen" opening up in places like Chattanooga. It only takes a small handful to create carnage.

And Sandy Hook, and Charleston, and Virginia Tech, and Columbine, and Roseburg Oregon, and the Navy Yard, and Aurora, and Ft. Hood... and the daily violence in Chicago.

Hell, why don't you throw in the daily violence in Chicago while you're at it

lol these aren't random lotto pics, people.

these are DELIBERATLY INSERTED 'refuges' by ISIS to ensure people are in place whereever they need them.

lol that people still use odds to calculate if a refuge turns up 'bad'.

4 is not 5% of 3 million. Check your math, chief.

Yea, people born in Belgium or living in Boston or training in Florida. It could be anyone. These people weren't born radicals, they were converted. For all I know, with your level of stupidity and xenophobia, you could be the next bomber.

Why are you ignoring the fact that ISIS has said repeatedly they are (1) going to attack the Europe and the US. And (2) are hiding operatives among the Syrian refugees that they will use to accomplish this goal?

They've told us over and over what they were going to do, now they've done it, and yet you still refuse to see it. How do you do this?
