Ah so that’s why he already had his legal conceal carry permit.

Always gets me when stuff like this happens

Liberals be like, “what, I thought yall conservatives were all for legal guns”

Yeah that’s right, legal

99.9999999999% of these cases they are certainly not legal

Arrest his parents!

How do you know they’re weren’t already incarcerated when junior started emptying his stolen gun?

He will maybe spend a couple of years in juvenile detention then be on his way to kill again with a sealed juvenile record.

Unlikely. While he’s being housed in the juvenile facility pretrial, unless I’m misremembering, attempted murder is an automatic transfer offense for 16 year olds once the DA files a bill of information (initiates prosecution).

Is BR as bad as New Orleans about just letting murderers and scum walk out Scot free?

According to this board? Yes.

In reality? No.

Why is this surprising with a certain demographic and their utes?

Do not need permit to carry concealed in LA

Staggeringly unlikely while under the jurisdiction of the juvenile court and statutorily illegal while under the jurisdiction of the district court.

BRPD arrested a 16-year-old boy for his connection to the shooting, which they say stemmed from a fight.

I'm guessing it was a verbal disagreement over the physics theory of stochastic electrodynamics that escalated into physical demonstration of the theory.

Most likely not the 16 year old who did the shooting. Most likely he's taking the rap because he is underage.

Considering he would be prosecuted as an adult, this would be very poor planning on their part.

That does sound vaguely familiar however, if it was in those days, a lot of it has become hazy memories.
It doesn’t surprise me one bit though.

Brother was robbed at gunpoint in his Hatcher dorm room in 1986. Guy asked if he could use the phone and he obliged. Out comes the gun, gone goes the wallet, license, student ID and sense of security.
