BR news anchor getting some heat from none other for another use of the C word

"Jeanne Burns a reporter for WVLA NBC Local 33 did what now makes 3 white journalists did this week. Burns said Dr. Martin Luther “Coon” Jr.
Coon - Extremely Disparaging and Offensive . a contemptuous term used to refer to a black person.
She and the network need to address this immediately. I can’t understand how this “mistake” keeps happening. Maybe if people lose their job for using racial slurs on T.V. by accident, the accident won’t happen by more journalist. Maybe they will be a little more deliberate when speaking of leaders such as Dr. Martin Luther KING Jr."

Journalism schools are already making notes to only refer to Martin Luther King, Jr. as MLK. This is to prevent any further ridiculous claims of bigotry.

You have to wonder if the people writing the teleprompter feed are behind at least some of these incidents. The on air personality often just reads without really paying attention. If you dislike a certain anchor, just put Coon instead of King and the anchor takes the heat while you remain anonymous.

Why the frick do these people keep using the word coon???
We had one here locally say the say damn thing. Pitch forks haven't been brought out yet, but his termination was demanded.
And i don't know the other 2 who said coon, but the guy locally would never do it on purpose, or even think about using it in person. Maybe from others doing it, they have mind fricked themselves into it?????
