Kid clearly needs to be supervised further but he probably would have responded that way if it were a 92 year old woman hitting him up

This seems like an unecessery investigation. Was there even a 12 year old girl or was it a task force putting a retarded man in a lose/lose situation? Sadly this is not surprising. Back in high school Josh was overly aggressive in his flirting with the young squaws of RHS. Most of them just shook it off due to his disability and that he didn't know any better but there was definitely some inappropriate actions.

I knew his brother back in the day. He has a mental disability, I think its to the extent that he isn't capable enough to be held accountable for his actions. Not defending what he did. Shitty situation all around

This is what I am curious about. And if it was in fact a 12-year-old girl, I certainly hope the girl's parents are visited by child protective services for not monitoring their kids online activity or at least putting up parental blocks. (may be harsh, just wanted to also remind everyone that a 12-year-old girl is basically doing whatever she wants online with no supervision (assuming she is real))

Obviously not all the details are known here, but I think this is shitty on the news for reporting this and for the 6 agencies that had to handle this in this manner. Josh is special and if you have ever met him, know he wouldn't hurt a fly. He is on a low level mentally, now if he is around adults, he can act like an adult, but left to his own, he will act like a little kid. I feel bad for the family, they are great people. I hope the best for all involved here.

According to Darth Vader, anything over 12 shouldn’t really be a crime.

Where was the BRSO, LSUPD, the FBI, and Interpol when all this was going down?

This guy needs to be tested and then executed. He is a 31 yo hiding behind a technicality. If he can break down a MSU pitchers mechanics and stats he can determine its wrong to solicit a 12 yo. An example needs to be made.
