The geniuses that designed the area at Perkins and Glasgow that will be the new shopping center and grocery store apparently graded it so that entire area dumps onto Perkins Road now. Deep water there fricking up traffic on Perk

Is anyone surprised? Just wait for the absolute cluster frick that traffic will be there.

Planning in BR is a complete joke. Seriously it’s a joke to real planners.

The idiots that try to drive through that level of water, in a sedan no less, always baffle me

Looks these baws will be a few minutes waiting it on the I-110, that would suck coming into town, the water must have come up pretty quick on that curve

I-110 generally isn't the best place to get off of the interstate either

I don’t remember if that part of 110 held water in 16 but I don’t think it did.

This was a flash flood. It happens every now and then in that low bend. It will be gone in a few minutes.

My grass got a much needed sprinkle in St. George. I'm glad the rain likes white people.

I know we like to complain, but did anyone else have zero traffic on the way home?

I made it from past airline on 12 to port Allen in less than 15 minutes. It was spookie how clear everything was given how bad it was raining.

No. The 30 minute drive to the barn took an hour and a half

This will continue to get worse with increasing development. Go look at all the new bullshite apartments on burbank, every one is slightly higher than the rest and eventually there will be no natural drainage left. nobody cares about the neighbors as long as their shite dont flood. shitehole

Less cars on the interstate for sure but once the rain came down everyone was going 40-45 MPH so it was a bit of a wash

Does the NOS&WB run the pumping stations at I-110 and at Acadian too?

Do they actually work?
