Violent crime has spiked since all the anti-cop bullshite in the wake of the “CD seller” dying? This is my fricking shocked face. The cops got tired of policing when they got attacked, verbally and physically, for doing their duty. Hence the criminal element is running unchecked.
Quite predictable

First, let us have that conversation.

Here is the data on the city's website . It goes back to 2001.
Idk if they differentiate knife/bat/hammer ag assaults from guns when writing reports, but there's a 99% chance they do when reporting to the feds.
Eta: As far as I can tell, it looks like the type of weapon must be distinguish in the newer NIBRS, but isn't required to be submitted in the UCR. Louisiana also has LIBRS, which Baton Rouge has been a part of since at least 2010. Type of weapon is required in that also.
These reports are published quarterly and yearly, so the chief is lying, and Kiran needs to do some research before interviewing him

Or maybe he just didn't have his glasses and has a hard time with math. SWB needs to hire him a fulltime math assistant.
They'll meet at Ruth Chris' for lunch to have a meeting with her posse on whether or not to conduct a study into whether or not MurphMurph has the retard.

There have been zero officer involved shooting since Paul took over.
Yep, now they don't even show up until well after the crime has occurred. It is their new form of deescalation. No more police shootings will occur.

How many more times will the chief run his assistant out there to take a beating from Chawla?

Now I think it is impossible to stop it with SWB and Murphy Paul.
ANY St George family will happily pay $1000 more per year in taxes, just for the peace of mind theur safety isnt in those complete F'ing morons' hands.
Hell, i live in Lafayette and I'll donate to make St George happen.

I was originally against St George based on principal, but this makes me all for St George. The current state of Baton Rouge leadership is sad, pathetic, incompetent, corrupt and incredibly dishonest, which is putting it nicely.

Personally not a big fan of depts fudging to hide a more serious crime.
I would rather if it happens log it correctly.
Then come up with a plan to reduce the problem.
Sooner or later down the line someone will go through paperwork.
Then it raises its dirty little head.
Similar to people that get tickets fixed in small towns.
All they do is put them in the back of the file.
Sooner or later someone will clean it out and oh you never cleared up a ticket you got in the past.

And everyone in the City of BR let it get this way. Now they are all crying because they don't get a vote on St. George. But they have gotten plenty of votes that could have made people want to be a part of the City of BR.
Now the city is ran by Gravy, et al. That is on them. Blame the Advocate, BR Business Report, BRAC, the the citizens of BR for making that place terrible.

What personal “principle” of yours prevents you from supporting citizens who desire to incorporate?

Whoever the principal at Saint George Midldle must have done him wrong one too many.

They only log white cops shootings black thugs.
You know convicted felons selling drugs waving guns around while they are high selling pirated cd’s.
Just wait until Denise Marcelle runs and wins.
The black panthers will be running government.

Turns out that the numbers show BR is on pace to be significantly higher this year in total shootings than 2018. Does the SWB administration believe people are so stupid to believe that, in 2019, a police department serving 250k people hasn't been keeping basic crime stats?
Typical idiotic tactic from mayor bitch broome.
St. George says, hello.
