BATON ROUGE, LA - United States Attorney Walt Green announced today that a federal grand jury has returned an indictment charging CHRISTOPHER G. YOUNG, age 53, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography.

According to the Indictment, YOUNG was the part-owner of a hotel in the country of Costa Rica, where he traveled frequently for business and leisure. YOUNG allegedly received two videos depicting prepubescent boys engaging in bestiality from an associate in Costa Rica. From 2013 through 2015, YOUNG allegedly distributed the child pornography videos to approximately 38 different individuals, on 33 separate occasions, through his smart phones.

Reposting this since the other thread is being operated by an imbecile.

ETA: This is either some sick, twisted shite, or this is some type of meme in a group chat gone wrong.

Yes, but how can we be certain that he WILLFULLY distributed the sensitive materials?

I don't know if I'm phrasing it properly , but hopefully you understand my point. The material could have been distributed in a "haha, wtf is this shite" kind of way instead of a "oh Billy I think you'll get your rocks off to this weird shite" kind of way.

ETA: If it is child pornography, either of those reasons are idiotic and sick, and this dude deserves whatever is coming his way, but I wonder what the intent was when sending it to so many people.

Que?

On a slightly related note, if a 16 year old girl was sexting her BF and accidentally sent it to a state senator in LA, the senator is guilty of possession of child pornography by the letter of the law that is being used to prosecute 18 year olds like the kid in Monroe.

I get it. Back in my college days one of my buddies came back from Europe with a VHS tape from Sweden (VHS, dating myself). It was a bestiality porn video. He popped it into the player at halftime of an away LSU game we were watching at someone's apartment. I watched maybe 15 seconds before going in the kitchen. Definitely not my thing plus I don't watch porn with other dudes. Anyway, the LAST THING on my mind was the age of the actors.

Usually those pesky federal indictments do not have a haha tone to them, so I think it is pretty safe to say he is gonna enjoy shower time with the fellas

No, just no

I've heard the excuses like "oh what if I opened up a spam email" or "I accidentally clicked on the wrong link" and that isn't how this works.

I have a relative that worked in BR for the atate's cyber crime task force and he told me that when people are ran through the mud and charges brought against them, it's from them REALLY going out of their way and being sick fricks.

The Costa Rica reference makes it believable for me. There are lots of European and American pedophiles in Central America and Asia.

They have their own bars and hotels...pedo perches we called them.

I wasn't really suggesting that at all, but receiving a video of child pornography and sending it to 33 people over a 2 year time frame seems like an all-time frick up if you're trying not to get caught.

Sounds like He may have been on some incognito dark web forums where he was in touch with other sick fricks like him and they would trade kiddie porn. And what fricks him the most is in the trade, him sharing the video. Which looks to be 33 times.... I don't see what's real confusing.

Costa Rica is a hotbed of child sex. A friend of mine has a driver there who has stories of celebs he drives around. One likes young girls, the other young boys. Coincidentally one of them just came out as having HIV. Hmm.

From 2013-2015 is a three year span. Sending something 33 times in an approximately 36 month time span isn't some serial distributor of child porn. To me anyway. Less than once every four weeks? Hmmm.

Also, is this all they found? Two videos? Is this the only evidence that they've found as a result of an investigation with the power and authority of the USDOJ that covers at the least a three year period? Does a child predator or beastiality fan stop at two videos?

Im not condoning this-in any way on any level-but something seems amiss...

I'm not confused, I'm just saying that the indictment could also apply to someone who got a sick video that he thought was funny and sent it to people in texts trying to be funny.

I've got some weird shite (no kiddie porn or bestiality though) in a group chat before. I'm just pointing out that situation would/could also result in the same type of indictment, although the intention was much different.

That is my point too. I mean if it is beastiality and child porn, he deserves whatever he gets, but I'm wondering it if was just terrible judgment or a sicko actually getting off to that kind of thing.
