Todays LDH numbers are going to top 3,000 right?

It shouldn't, it should still be the number I listed yesterday in a thread (2895)

School opening up gonna spike the Covid numbers

My wife (no pics) had a parent try to send their kid to school after testing positive because he didn't show any symptoms.

I just dont think schools are a big driver in spikes, and last year proved that

When school is out, kids are playing and staying over at each others house moreso than during school. And while in school teachers keep more covid measures than when it is summer time

Are kids required to be tested before entering school? If the kid showed no symptoms, why get them tested to begin with?

Hey Pride, I've got a question just out of curiosity.

Are ALL patients admitted to the hospital tested for covid?? IE a heart attack patient, a patient admitted for CHF? If they are and if they test positive, I'll guess that they're counted in the covid number??

OR is it STRICTLY people who are there FOR COVID treatment in the covid numbers??

No.

I don't know why he was tested. Another parent that lives in the kid's neighborhood alerted the school.

Is the decline a result of deaths?

How many times is this going to be brought up

It really doesnt matter, it means the beds arent being replaced at the same rate regardless how the patients leave the hospital

Covid cases in the US have went from 30,000 a day to 160,000 a day in the last few weeks, I appreciate your optimism but things aren't getting better.

It doesnt make me happy at all, but Louisana has gone from 2000 cases a day a month ago to 10,000 new cases yesterday.

What in this graph makes it look like things are getting better to you?

I dont know what to tell you, our biggest population drivers are on the decline. Every age group is declining in cases per day. Our hospitalizations are rounding out. Comparing today to a month ago?
