Another graph to prove it’s not suddenly young people leading the charge. The order of most to least cases has been the same since January and vaccines started to get rolled out to the old crowd::

Outside of Nola, mask compliance is non-existent for the most part

School opening up gonna spike the Covid numbers. Anecdotally, I see a lot of folks with Covid now and heard of a couple of dumbass kids going to school with Covid.

It’s completely non existent in the LP where cases had spiked the highest. It’s going down here too now.

He's been a good follow for COVID tracking. Good data without sensationalizing anything.

Now on the other hand, the dude who runs the Louisiana Coronavirus Data twitter (@LA_CV_data) makes it sound like were all going to be dead within a weeks time.

Is this in regards to the China virus which has a 99.8% survival rate?

so you're telling me the threads about the Rt numbers that showed the end of the Delta peak coming were correct??

I came to say the same. Rt don't lie. I'm using it here with our school board, but they seem to only understand emotions and anecdotes, not real data.

Is he just starting to pay attention. This has been the case for ever wave in LA and why the waves appear to drag so long. The waves start in NOLA/JP, BR is shortly behind, then the rest of the State gets in on the fun. The only difference I saw* this time was it appears St. Tammany jumped the gun and may have started hanging out with the south shore people sooner.

*Not in medical field, and no inside knowledge. Just see it from sifting through data on ldh's site.

They should have implemented the mask mandate as soon as Delta cases increases started happening. They waited too long IMO.

I actually agree. Then we could have ALL seen how much good mask mandates don’t do.

Then thursday will likely be back down in the 2900s. Question is, when does the steady decline start? My guess is mid to late next week

It should be 2908 if the current reports hold up.

That is what I figured based on our census

Todays LDH numbers are going to top 3,000 right? So tomorrow having a 100 patient drop is going to cause a frenzy
