I guess the Mall of LA incident wasn't a big enough wake-up call for the "community".

That article perfectly shows why the Baton Rouge media absolutely sucks at their job.
That's the entire article.
Was the 1 year old in a car that was being shot at? I'm assuming this was a shooting involving people in vehicles since they mention it was near an intersection, but I'm not certain. Was the 1 year old sleeping in his crib in the nursery his mom and dad made for him before he was born? Was he in a stroller being strolled by a father who was giving the mom a break to sleep after being up all night with a crying toddler? What happened? If the 1 year old was in a car when he/she was shot, what the frick was the kid doing in a vehicle at 4:00am?

don't pigeonhole the perps. Mayor Coach is very sensitive to that.
Wonder what would happen if he was as sensitive to the loss of life?

Clearly the response after the mall shooting did not do much to deter shootings in baton rouge. They have been going on at a steady clip.

That’s all local tv affiliates everywhere. Their job is to be first, get the clicks, and move on. It’s also why they very rarely add to their articles. They would rather just run the addition as a new article for more clicks.

At a minimum, talk tougher when you're addressing the murder of a 17 YO high school girl.
