Shopped around for a used suv/crossover for about a month and found one at a local dealer.

Went for a test drive Friday and noticed the CEL was on and one of the rear windows would not roll down.

Negotiated price and the dealer agreed to fix all issues if I leave it with the service department. I left it there all day Friday and called them Saturday around noon to learn that the service tech did not come in and it wouldn't be looked at until Tuesday.
Picked it up so that it wouldn't sit there all weekend and have noticed a ton of problems with this thing.

Just since Friday here are the issues:
Front lights stay on long after the engine is off
Taillights flicker constantly
a/c stops and starts periodically
air bag alarm warning beeps constantly
fan runs after engine is shut off
Rear liftgate would not open
Blinker does not work every time it is engaged

Bought it as-is?

What makes you think it is a lemon?

Pretty sure buyers remorse isn't an acceptable reason to terminate the contract.

When we pulled the codes for the CEL, they were electric related.

I'm dropping it off at the dealership tomorrow morning and hopefully they can find the cause of it.

What did the independent mechanic say when you paid them a nominal fee to look at it before spending thousands of dollars on it?

Sounds like it's not a Toyota or Honda.

Did you check the Carfax? Sounds like you have some major electrical issues. This car may have gone through a flood.

This doesn't seem like a lemon, more you didn't do your due diligence.

Didn't consult one as none of these issues arose during the test drive.

What codes are they exactly? I think you may just need a BCM

Yes, 30 routine maintenance service records with no accidents or mechanical issues

Why didn’t you agree to buy the car AFTER the dealership fixed all the issues?

Um, that is why you pay a mechanic... to find out about these issues before signing a contract.

A test drive is not enough time to evaluate a used car.

Lemon = new car with 4 attempts to repair same issue in one year or 45 days out of commission.

Negotiate with the dealer calmly and hope for the best.

You bought it and they promised to fix it but you didn’t want to wait for them to fix it so now it’s a lemon?

I’m guessing north of 150k miles on it?
