Is the fact that most people prefer bottled water indicative of how little people trust the government? People would rather spend money with basically any company as opposed to drinking what is free. Thoughts?

We use bottled water here in Mamou, because the tap water is filled with shat (e-coli) and carcinogens. Been that way for some time now.

Baton Rouge has amazing water compared to a lot of the country. One of the best things it has going for it honestly

Bottled water is less regulated than tap water.

Who drinks tap water anymore? I drink the “tap” off of my fridge almost exclusively.

I drink tap water but only after it goes through my water filter pitcher. Never had a problem with it.

In a new report entitled "Take Back the Tap," Food & Water Watch explains that 64 percent of bottled water comes from municipal tap water sources—meaning that Americans are often unknowingly paying for water that would otherwise be free or nearly free.

Absolutely true. All that Dasani you see on the shelves--the Coke bottler takes that straight from the tap at where the bottling operation is located.

Drink tap water at home, bottled water for yard work, if guests want it, or road trips

My wife is one of those weirdos who thinks she can taste the difference between the “good” kitchen tap water and the “bad” bathroom sink water. I showed her all the PEX pipes I ran to replace old water lines and she still says she can taste the difference. Bitch it’s coming in from the street on the same line and makes one little detour through the kitchen before going to our bathroom.

The tap water where we're at is horrible. We have two five gallon water coolers for our drinking and cooking water supply.
