Unless they move it to another country the ruling will be the same

Why should he not be tried in the city in which he committed the crime? With that logic no trial should be held in its respective city.

Tough to get a fair trial when you BOMB THE frickING MARATHON!
He used a wmd and deserves the death penalty like any other terrorist we battle.

In the language of Senator Lane from The Outlaw Josie Wales, "He'll be decently treated. He'll be decently fed and then he'll be decently executed."

No jury or judge is free of prejudice. That is not possible. We are guaranteed a trial before our peers. He likely got one. I quickly forget such things, but my impression was that the preponderance of evidence was that he was guilty.
In such cases, the defending attorney is forced to say the trial was rigged and unfair. You almost never hear an attorney push for a verdict to be set aside because he did a lousy job. He certainly wouldn't claim that the trial was unfair if the jury found the accused not guilty.

We've been playing games with the criminals for the last 50 years. Should have shot the little SOB between the eyes

So a Child Rapist can request a court with no Fathers in it?

I for one do not want to live in a country where mob mentality rules, which is exactly what happened when the judge refused to change venue.
George Junius Stinney Jr. (October 21, 1929 – June 16, 1944), was an African-American teenager wrongfully convicted at age 14 of the murder of two white girls in 1944 in his hometown of Alcolu, South Carolina. He was executed in June of that year, still only 14. His appeal to the governor for clemency was denied. He was one of the youngest Americans to be sentenced to death and executed.

This isn’t going to fly, the Boston Strong movement was nationwide, so this was not a factor in determining guilt.
His attorney admitted in her opening statement that he was guilty, so I'm guessing his argument is focused on the sentencing and not the verdict.
I'm not sure any Boston jury could fairly weigh the defense's arguments that he didn't deserve the death penalty.

Some of you will say it doesn't matter and that he deserves to fry. Well it does matter because justice is not served if a defendant does not receive a fair trial. Liberal pinko commie fig rationale at its' finest.

So will the next request be a retrial with 12 terrorists on the jury?
frick this guy. Hang him from the highest point in Boston for all to see.

Ironically, that douche nozzle Jann Wenner inadvertently tainted the jury pool in the entire country by running the photo on the rolling stone cover glorifying that POS terrorist. Frick him and frick Jann Wenner.

This lawyer is just doing his job on behalf of his client. I highly doubt he believes what he is spouting and is only going through the motions of the appeal process.

In this country our justice system mandates we are all guaranteed a fair trial and in this instance its hard for me to believe he got that in a Boston courtroom.
So what should the punishment be for terrorist attacks in this country?
I mean, the goat fricker is on video with the bombs. How did he not get a fair trial in a Boston courtroom, the fact that he's not been torn limb from limb yet seems fair enough to me.

He blew up an 8 year old child. He deserves to die.

He should have been burned at the stake a long time ago. No. It shouldn't be tossed. It should be expedited and executed in the cruelest manner possible. Burning sounds about right to me.

His attorney is fricking up his 72 virgins gig.
He should sue his lawyer for malpractice.

This country also mandates that you don't terrorize anyone. Maybe we should change the law to where pos terrorists don't get the same treatment as the rest of us. Does anyone actually give a crap if hey torture him and not give him a fair trial at all...and then just put a bullet in his head? Even if someone does, what are they going to do about it...if you're an American citizen, you don't give a shite what happens to this pos
