You know they are neither baked, nor beans, and I suspect they aren’t even from Boston.

$1.69 at Walgreens, $4 for 4.

I like the taste of the Boston Baked Beans, they are a solid candy choice.. My main problem with them is how horrible they are for your teeth.. When i was a kid i didnt care, and in fact broke a tooth on the appropriately-named Jawbreakers.. but as an adult, i cant afford the hassle and expense that would come with biting down too hard on hard candy so i mainly avoid it .

Yes they still exist and like everything else now, it sucks compared to what it used to be. Lemonheads remain unchanged, though. All the Ferrara Pan candies are great. Used to buy Cherry Clans for $0.25 a pack at the old Lakeshore Shelter #1 concession stand on the lakefront in New Orleans.

I always preffered these which, I just learned, are actually called French Burnt Peanuts. I just thought they were bumpy Boston Baked Beans.
See someone beat me to it.

I remember them.
Anybody remember “Lincoln Logs?”
It was kind of a peanut butter crunchy candy in a twist wrapper.

Delicious candy! $1 a box at Walmart

Yeah, they are still around and my wife will come home with a few boxes of them from time to time. She also found the old "Coconut Long Boy" candy that is a round stick made up of coconut bits and a real tan caramel that I loved as a kid, and still do.
She get them from some shop in Metairie and I know you can order them on-line if so inclined.

Last box (this summer) cost me $1475! I broke a tooth and had to get a crown. They have always been hard - and when you find a box, it's usually old and they are even harder.
I'm over my nostalgia and will pass on them in the future.

I ate a big bag in one sitting as a kid and threw that shite up everywhere. I can barely look at the picture without getting nauseous.
ETA: It also broke me of eating candy for the most part.
