So your educated guess is because she is a teacher in Bossier she is dumb... interesting... Do you assume this about all teachers or just ones in Bossier
This has nothing to do with anything we are discussing. You can keep deflecting all you want. It's really hard to justify a stance that the teacher is in the right to ignore the state and teach her own agenda, so I don't blame you in not addressing that.

Public schools are unconstitutional
Well, they’re absolutely necessary, because society would be in a world of shite if education wasn’t provided by the state. Really, would you want to live in a society where only 70% of people can read?

Not a big deal
that is a big deal. The teacher is teaching kids that evolution is not real. A science teacher. How is this not a big deal?Posted on 2/9/18 at 6:45 pm to DavidTheGnome
All part of what make Bossier schools a great place to send your kids.

Sure would. I'd run everything.

Should a religion be pushed on any student? No. But what is wrong about teaching about different religions?
Because it will never be handled properly. Which religions should they discuss?

Only because there's more $$$ to be made ripping parishioners off than taxpayers.

I look at it as the teacher is teaching about evolution because the students have to research the counter argument for their presentation.

Well now I'm impressed by you. I never thought I'd hear an idea that could make Louisiana schools considerably worse, yet here we are.
You think Louisiana as a state does a poor job? Wait till we set a precedent that teachers can ignore the state. You'll backtrack from that, but you literally stated "many times teachers should just ignore the state", in reference to what they do/don't teach.
What happens when you get a holocaust or 9/11 Truther? They can teach what they believe, because teachers are allowed to ignore the state and teach their own agendas. Hardcore republican or democrat? Great, just add your own political slant while you teach American History!
Good god what an awful, awful idea to honestly suggest teachers should be able to ignore the state as far as what they teach.

There are plenty of brands of Christianity I don’t want taught to my child at school. Uh, that’s why I chose the particular church I take my family too. Why is separation of church and state so hard for some to understand?

Because tdeucen doesn't think teachers should have to follow the instructions provided to them from the state, their employer.

Never been to N LA have you? Jesus is the reason for the season.
And these are not isolated occurrences, you only hear of them when a parent has had enough but its happening everyday up there.

Four parents have sued the Bossier Parish Schools for allegedly subjecting their children to unwanted and unconstitutional Christian messages and indoctrination.
If this happens, then the remaining parents need to sue the Bossier Parish Schools for allegedly subjecting their children to unwanted and unconstitutional atheistic messages and indoctrination.
If God is in school, it is Christian. If God is removed from school, it i atheism.
When will people understand the absence of God is the belief that there is no God which is atheistic beliefs.

If you don't think there is a war on Christianity in America today, I don't know what to tell you. It's everywhere.

It typically bothers people when the state sponsored school is teaching fictional stories as if they were historical fact.
