Looks like Andy was getting investigated for something larger and he gave up the ice when the feds came in for a visit.
The KTBS 3 facebook comments from his sheep are pure gold. "He is a man of god that was asking for help and will be redeemed"
quote:
Andy C. Harris, 56, of 2406 Benton Road in Bossier City, was charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Harris was the senior pastor at The Church of the Cross, an Assemblies of God congregation perhaps best known for the 199-foot exterior cross it erected in 2009 on its property along U.S. 80 in Haughton.
Church officials confirmed Friday that Harris had resigned, but they wouldn't comment further. References to Harris on the church's site and some on social media have been deleted

What kind of help?
Like, "Sir, can you please help me locate the finest of your crystal?"

He’ll turn it into a “I once was lost, but now am found” sermon and go on the road to preach at revivals.

I would not be surprised to find out he was sucking dick to get the meth. I wonder if he will comment on which one he liked more, the meth or the lip friction?

Was it organic meth or Monsanto evil genetically modified meth? That will make a difference on whether he gets into heaven.

Maybe I'm naive but how the frick does a pastor in Haughton get into crystal meth???
I'm from bossier, lived all over Louisiana and Texas and have partied plenty, never even seen meth.

Harris told deputy sheriffs about the meth during an in-office interview for an unrelated investigation. Harris was not a suspect in that investigation, which had been ongoing for a few days, said Bill Davis, the department's public information officer. Davis declined to say what the department had been investigating.
That is odd.
"Oh, yeah, while I'm here and not even a suspect or anything, just want to tell you I have some meth at my house."

Haughton is full of meth. Bossier, Texas, and Louisiana are full of meth. Have you been partying at nursing homes?
