I think we need to be specific… not necessarily “reform”. We need to make immigration court flow more efficiently. The backlog is insane, resulting in folks saying frick it and just entering.
IMO, if we maintain thresholds for qualifying to enter the country, work/citizenship path, etc. Resources intended to prevent illegal immigration would be that much more effective.
Yes, I’m oversimplifying but it’s insane how long it takes for folks to legally enter and attempt to work/become citizens lawfully

It becomes an incredibly massive mess once you start putting limits on anything and there would be some howling if we cut down on folks coming over from 3rd world countries with people who don't offer anything more than the people we already have on welfare. The idea behind the H1B visa was to address this issue in that it would be qualified candidates who can fill "voids" in the american workforce but alas this program only works when candidates and visa pursuers are acting in "Good Faith."

Got a link for that because that facially seems like bullshite. First, it would be an agfel so disqualifying for all relief. Secondly, ICE can issue an AOR under 238(b) to simply remove the person.

I did see a clear video of an officer walking away with the guys handgun
Regardless, this is an impossible situation for these officers. Not defending or shitting on them… legit, this is a cluster and clearly this makes no sense

All could have been avoided if LEO worked with federal agents in their duties.

While being manhandled another agent takes guys gun
After guys gun is completely removed he is then shot
If the above is “to be expected from these agents” then I truly believe it should 100% be paused as an operation until we can get people more able
