I'm not the one in this thread talking about how much of a BIG DEAL this shooting is and how I'm understating the situation.

By the way, I never see any of you buffoons in the threads where illegal immigrants kill American citizens in heinous ways, and certainly not as upset as you are about this shooting.

LOL. I'm too smart to think engagement with the opposition on this is productive.

So I go on CNN, or I go to a protest, or I go hang out with some Dem officials and say "hey, after extensive review, I've concluded it's a bad shoot, let's shake hands, and I'll go back to supporting ICE in all their actions and you can go back to spewing vitriol at me and people like me." Is that what we're hoping for?

The immediate questions will be "well don't you think we should pause these efforts until Trump can propose something [meeting our standards that'll never happen]n" or "don't you think ICE needs to leave Minneapolis" or so forth.

None of this is farfetched. MN lefties (including the Gov) are demanding ICE stop their enforcement and leave. Nationally, Dem legislators want to defund ICE. That's all they want out of this. They don't care about this dude's life, and they don't care about a conversation about police overreach, etc.
