Damn, you are dumb.

Did you have your head up your arse for like 3 years?

you thinking younger generations locked down hospitals (or anything else for that matter). The draconian response to Covid was all boomers because they were scared they were going to die.

I’m not trying to be full “Ok Boomer” or whatever. But the arrogance seems unearned. The postwar golden years were created by the Greatest Generation, hence why they had so many kids in the “Baby Boom” right? Am I missing something??

Boomer here...

Plenty to criticize for the Boomers shortcomings.. Blaming the Boomers for where our country is at the moment is very oversimplifed..

the ideologies that are poisoning the minds and discourse of our country at the moment predates the Boomers.. Introduced before the Boomers .. and every Boomer I know is pushing against the tide ...

Don't fall for the multi-generational labels introduced to further divide us ..

You’re a fricking moron (this is a direct insult)
Blind folks who’ve been sightless since birth are expert at being blind, but (like you) that also precludes them from expertly recognizing another person who shares the same challenge.

So we here are tempted to give your opinion on moronic behavior weight due to your intimacy with it, but logic tells us to disregard it.

So you say.

V.F.D. fire chief, asst. Boy Scout leader, asst. baseball coach is hardly "mover and shaker" by my standards.

I was sent to emergency room for an infusion. My wife was told to wait outside of the doors. It took longer than expected. My wife couldn't find out why.

Not one fricking person working there was of the Boomer generation. That is my point.

What was the median home size in 1975?

That’s silly. It’s incredibly unlikely that no one working in the hospital was born between 1946 and 1964. I’d bet the vast majority of the senior admin of the hospital was that age (56-74).

Based on facts I'm sure.

I'd respond but Mingo says I'm not suppose to take this personal.

Does my silence mean I agree or disagree?

Boomers didn’t spend their days posting every waking thought on the internet.

Maybe y’all should try it.

So every doctor, nurse, etc in the hospital was under 56? That just doesn’t match my experience in hospitals.

On the other hand, it's not this simple. The people working there didn't make the staffing decisions or years of cutting corners that led to your experience.

You may not have been in that hospital. I was.

This was St. Elizabeth but this was same rules for OLOL and the other 2 major organizations in the area. It is unusual for me to see anyone over the age of 50.
