Why? Why do these cases take so damned long.

As long as the defendant is not a flight risk or a threat to the community, it is not right to keep them in prison.
So video evidence of her beating the shite out of a child is not sufficient to say she is a threat to the community? Also, she would not be in prison, she would be in jail. Big difference.

That’s a fair question. As long as they do, we can’t just hold accused people in jail endlessly without an actual verdict declaring their guilt.

The democrats will be lined up to help this poor suppressed soul, it's not her fault.
She's been held back by whitey all her life so when that white kid spilled his juice she couldn't hold back.
MSNBC and CNN will lead off with her terrible story

That's A major point, of 3. Another major point is "is she a threat to the community"? Can a valid argument be made that she is a threat to the community?

She would be in jail, not prison. Huge difference.

It’s not a meaningful enough difference when considering the massive setback it is for someone’s life to be locked away from their family, friends, career, etc. for months or years when they are possibly innocent.

There is video evidence. This should take 72 hours max. I don't give a frick what it actually takes now in modern society.
Did this bitch beat the frick out of that little boy and is it on camera or not? That is all I give a frick about it. Everything else that "is the way it is" is wrong morally.

i would have been waiting outside for her then given her a beatdown just like she did to my little boy.
i would happily serve my time.
this is the one time i would have no problem beating up a woman.
This judge would make an example out of you and be way harsher. It's like 1980's flipped upside down. We are living in the upside world.

I don't get how bond is allow for so many violent criminals. Our justice system is in shambles.
The 8th Amendment is pretty clear that excessive bail shall not be required.
So they literally cannot post a bail so high you could never pay it.
Bail is usually more about whether you’ll show up for your court date or not. it’s supposed to s financial incentive for you to appear.
So do you have the means the flee
do you have ties to the area that make you becoming a hunted fugitive
unlikely.
Judges can looks t whether you’re an ongoing danger to the community l, a repeat offender, facing a charge that makes you more likely to flee etc…
In this case, she sucks. Shes a huge POS. but she its unlikely she is going to keep beating up toddlers until her court hearing

I don't disagree with this statement as a general rule. But there are arguments to be made regarding bail. That's why the prosecutor presents his argument against bail or the amount of bail, and the defense presents his argument. If it's a violent crime with circumstantial evidence, no witnesses, video, etc. Yes, I agree. But if it's a violent crime, especially against the elderly or a child, with eye witnesses and video evidence........hell no. This is not an unreasonable opinion.

No toddler should be put in the situation for us to find out.
That’s a wild assumption to make after what she just did. As if we don’t see violent criminals have another offense after they are let out

It's the unlikely that get's you though. To be certain that this never happens to his child again, since the Judge will not do her job (that's the deal, the government takes half of my fricking money and paves the roads and prosecutes criminals) the father should ensure that his child is protected.
It's UNLIKELY that any of us drop our child off to daycare and then pick them up beaten with their fricking eyes swollen shut.
It's VERY UNLIKELY. But here the frick we are, aren't we?
It's a broken system. Always has been. There is evil amongst us and we have allowed enablers, like this judge, to be in charge. IT IS WRONG.

I assume she isn’t employed at a daycare anymore.
She didn’t just attack a kid on the street.
and again, that doesn’t make what she did ok. It’s clearly fricking horrific.
I have no idea what i’d do if if that was
my kid.
