Body hanging from fence mistaken for halloween decoration

Chillicothe Police arrested a man in connection to the homicide of a female victim whose body was found dangling from a fence.
Donnie Cochenour Jr., 27, was arrested late Tuesday, accused of the murder of 31-year-old Rebecca Cade, according to Chillicothe Police.
Cade's body was found near a fence line at the end of North Brownell Street Tuesday, police said.
Fencing contractors saw the body dangling by the sleeve from the top of a fence and initially thought the body was a Halloween decoration, according to officials.
Investigators say Cade was apparently in a fight, ran from her attacker, got into a lot surrounded by a fence, then got stuck on the fence trying to get out.
A bloody rock was recovered by investigators that was apparently used in the attack, according to Ross County Prosecutor Matt Schmidt.
Cochenour is being held on $2 million bond after he pleaded not guilty to charges Wednesday.
Police have not linked him to the recent string of suspicious deaths and disappearances of local women.
