I used to journey back there all the time.
That connects many different areas of Baton Rouge, including the park! Scary.

The situation is developing in Pollard Estates near where the neighborhood connects with Quail Dr. in the southeastern part of the community.
Foul play isn’t suspected after the remains of a 33-year-old man were pulled from Dawson Creek near the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries around noon Wednesday, according to police.
The body is believed to be that of a Baton Rouge man reported missing Dec. 16, said Baton Rouge Police spokesman Sgt. Don Coppola Jr.
There were no obvious signs of foul play but cause of death is pending a coroner’s examination, Coppola said.

Are we sure it’s a 33 year old. Guy I know is a few years older and I haven’t heard from him in a few weeks.

You’re supposed to “accidentally” leave your underwear over there when you leave in the morning so you have an excuse to stop back by.

Well I’m not gay and we’re just acquaintances, not really close friends or anything. Just usually texts me all the time or posts some stupid crap on Facebook but neither of those have happened in a while. When I saw this thread it made me think

Nah, the police and coroner usually guestimate things like this, especially when it comes to releasing info to the media

Drug ODs in places like this aren’t uncommon. People who live with family hide to shoot up.

With the way that creek floods after it rains, I would be surprised if that's where the guy originally died
