If I remember correctly she also had like $3000 cash in glove compartment that she couldn’t give a good explanation for.

He did anything and everything you could want out of an Airman. He had just tested for TSgt and I had a strong feeling he would make rank. Instead of busting him down to SrA and effectively stunting his career for 5 years, I let him know I was redlining his TSgt stripe when results came out. So he still got an Article 15, but his career wouldn't be over. He would be eligible to test for TSgt in 2 more years. Results came out and he made TSgt as I suspected, and I took that stripe away.

Back in the day a DUI meant you had to walk on base for a year, unless someone drove you.
This type of behavior would also get you an Article 15, Non-Judicial Punishment. Usually means loss of rank or suspended loss or rank, heavy fines, extra duty, no chance of future promotion to O6, but most dentists would never make O6 anyway.
If she was just a regular dentist (not an oral surgeon) that wouldn't garner her any special treatment like a specialist in demand that came in as an O4 or O5.

Her behavior, to those of us who have spent much time around drunk people, is painfully obvious.
-the dead stare ahead while trying to figure out a plan.
-the repeated inquiries about things plainly answered.
-the confusion about simple things
-grasping at straws over stupid things. (Sitting at green)
-when her "supervisor" trick failed, she escalated. 'ok, I want to see YOUR supervisor...
Was the cash ever explained?

This is what I don't understand. If she was speeding, you write her a ticket and go about your business. Why did they insist on escalating the situation?
All this "show me your papers" bullshite is solely to condition us to lick boots.

If she was drinking and they let her off with a speeding ticket and she drives off and kills somebody would you have a different opinion?
