I’ve seen cougars jump farther in Cadillac Grill on a Thursday night.

No way. That animal would rip a person open...
A big, determined, man could kill that cat with his bare hands IF the cat consented to stay and fight. But the cat could get a couple of nasty swipes in and still get away.
The key would be to use his weight to trap the cat's hind legs and choke it. The biggest danger is disembowlment from the hind legs. The other key is to be willing to be maimed.

Does anyone want to guess that distance? About 10 yards ( 30 feet)?
Thats perhaps world record long jump distance . From a stand still.

A new OTL term has been coined. It should get high usage.

I think you'd have to be on some drugs to do it. Even a strong man, after a few gashes to the face or stomach would simply let go from the shear pain. A big man is definitely strong enough to kill it, I just don't think he could ever get in position to actually kill it, bare handed. I mean a pissed off house cat is hard enough to get a handle on.
