Just stop!
Bluefin do migrate to the GOM and are occasionally caught there a couple of months during the year, but now you're implying that you regularly caught bluefin by chartering out of Tampa Bay?
I know a lot of anglers in that area with Old Salt Fishing Foundation. The run to fish for yellowfin is at least 100 miles.
Please tell me...how far from Tampa/St Pete did you run to target bluefin?

Ah, but did you know that The Atlantic bluefin tuna is a species of tuna in the family Scombridae. It is variously known as the northern bluefin tuna, giant bluefin tuna [for individuals exceeding 150 kg ], and formerly as the tunny. Atlantic bluefins are native to both the western and eastern Atlantic Ocean, as well as the Mediterranean Sea.

Yeah. Pulled that outta my arse. Suck it, billy bob.

Just stop. It's clear that you only popped into this thread to spout your useless "knowledge." Go rub weenies with the other OB legends.

I'm not an expert. I'm just a rich kid who's fished a lot. Again, sorry you're a plebe.

I popped into the thread to read about the fish that sold for over $3 million.
I saw your comment about having caught a lot of bluefin. You provided further info that appears to be bullshite and I called you out on it.
Don't be butthurt if you've been caught telling fish stories.
As for the OB, I find it odd that you claim to be such an accomplished bluefin tuna fisherman but I have never seen a post from you over there.

I don't doubt that.

I will be looking for you next week at the first leg of the Triple Crown. Just let me know when you wanna meet at the Hook-Up. Drinks will be on me.
I'd love to learn your secret to catching monster bluefin tuna on what seems to be every charter trip you've ever taken.

aaaand there's one last info street cred drop. You are officially an internet badass.

Say, I guess your also expert friends have never heard of the 2 mile long wreck site outside of Tampa Bay, where people catch blue and yellowfin. Tell him about it. He'll save a lot of gas.

I mean if he went fishing for 30 yrs and caught an average of 2 fish ~165lbs each year. He would be close to 10,000lbs... I don’t know frick all about blue fin fishing or anything but doesn’t seem impossible.

Bradenton, to be exact.

Are you WTF's mama? I saw he ran crying over to the OB for his mama to come and get the bad man.

You must be her.

blueboy, you sure are being defensive and disrespectful. I would expect better from the bluefin whisperer!
It's quite comical.
I "ran crying" to the OB because I was entertained by your outrageous claims and I thought others there might enjoy it.
I've never caught a bluefin, but I damn sure know the difference between bluefin and blackfin.
After your comment about catching a few miles out of Tampa, I doubt you know the difference between bluefin and bluefish.
You've made some rather unbelievable claims in this thread. I have not.

It’s always funny when someone makes fun of something, especially another culture, they know nothing about...and then look incredibly stupid for doing so.

Very true. Supply is dwindling, and there are more consumers.

Asia will prove to be the ruination of ocean fisheries.
