History with Hardy.

You write 3 or 4 papers for the entire semester.
Kicker: You can turn them in whenever you want, and how ever many times you want (if you don't like your grade)

I thought you were saying we shouldn't have to take humanities and social sciences if you're degree has nothing to do with it.

As an engineer, taking History, Music Appreciation, some Religion class, Biology, etc, they were a complete waste of time.

We could all finish college a lot faster if we didn't have to take such worthless classes when we already know what major we are going for.

As an accountant, I disagree. But I also think being educated and not some drone that has only one skill is important.

Classical Studies - Greek Mythology was AWESOME. Basically a story time class. Greek mythology is fascinating. Just take notes.

Yep, that and EDCI 1001 were probably the only 100A's I made at LSU.

I couldn’t agree more, but I’m looking for easy classes to take in those to help boost the GPA.

EDCI 1001 WAS A JOKE. I literally showed up the first week of class, and then on tests. The midterm was multiple choice with questions like “What’s a midterm? What’s a semester?” 100A

Either you played sports, or you failed out. No other reason to take that class.

I got a 100 in it

why?
I already went to high school where I had to take history, and likely some other silly electives.
College is supposed to prepare me for my profession. Why do I need to be an expert about a specific piece of history, or a specific piece of religion, or know the difference between different periods of music to be a better engineer?
I'm going to school to be an engineer. Don't force me to pick some dumb arse elective to learn about. If I want to learn about something other than engineering, I can do that myself.
I don't know any engineer that I went to school with that gave the slightest bit of attention to any of those electives. We all did the minimum required to get at least a B in those classes. They were so unimportant to me I can't even remember most of them that I took. I know I took a history and a religion class, but couldn't tell you specifically what history or religion it was.

Look at the most powerful civilizations and the points is human history where the most innovation and advancement in human history happened.

Greeks, Roman's, Alexander the Great, The Renaissance, The Industrial Revolution. What do all those things have in common?

There has been more innovation and advancement in the last 20 years than the 20,000 years before it combined.

Leonardo Da Vinci was a great inventor and engineer. He was also one of the greatest artists in history.

You want a trade school, not a university. A university education is to prepare you to be a citizen in the world, and presumably a leader in your field and in the culture. The only difference between an engineer who never took any electives and the plant baw out there working on a tank is one of them went to school a little longer and sits in an air conditioned office.
