Well, she’s absolutely dead on the money. It’s oppressive as hell, and sentences people to a lifetime of failure in their minds because of some fantom boogeyman that is absolutely not there unless you conjure him up and he has to be there. If you are limitless in your mind you can and will achieve whatever you set out to do, but if you are sentenced to life on the plantation where you have no hope in life because you can’t do it,then you’re right. You are doomed.
Furthermore, the whole concept that black people cannot learn the same way as every other race falls in this same oppressive camp. It’s an incredible insult to black people’s intelligence, and in fact pretty damn racist to assume that black people don’t have the very same abilities as any other race to learn .. it’s complete horseshite, and it’s also intended to keep one on the plantation in their minds which keeps them exactly where people can control them want them to be.
