Binge drinking

So I am successful and make six figures but I can’t seem to stop getting blackout drunk on the weekends. It hasn’t conflicted with my career but it inevitably will. Does anyone have any advice? I feel like I just can’t find any contentment and I am fairly miserable. I feel restless and angry during the week while I work with a bunch of assholes, so I get hammered on the weekend and then try to make it up during the week. It’s a brutal cycle.

Unless you want to stop you won't. It's a vicious cycle until you do

Like... on the dot? Are we rounding up or down here? Is this in OT dollars?

Man we’ve had a lot of alcoholic/drinking threads around here lately. Good lord.
Y’all need some AA in your lives. It really does help.

Find a physical outlet. Martial arts, lifting, triathlon, skeet shooting, etc. find something that gets you moving that you can work to improve on. It will probably also help you with your .,.’a-hole” coworkers.

You need help alright.
Dude you are messed up seriously if you post this crap as the others have said. Laugh all you want at some pouring their experiences out. FY!

Try everyday instead of just the weekends

Try not drinking on the weekends or buy a 6 pack or a pint. Keep your amount of alcohol available enough to enjoy but once gone your not passed out.

Does not sound like you are an alcoholic (yet). Just not very bright.. Imagine your co workers think you are a hole.

Well, in other posts you've called yourself 67 years old.
In another post you said you were 45. Then a month later said you were 42.
You also claim to have been divorced twice.
And finally you started another post saying you were following your wife to Nebraska because she was the breadwinner of the family.
You've gone on the Outdoor Board talking about how it's OK to shoot turkeys out of season.
So obviously your entire account is just a troll. So frick off with your bullshite and take it somewhere else.

Therapy to deal with your underlying anger issues.

It’s a common problem for successful, driven people. You need an outlet like somebody else said. If you can, go buy a few acres, as many as you can afford, and start doing yard work or make a garden or plant trees and watch your property improve with your physical efforts. You probably don’t want to drink at all until you can get your act together and ween yourself off the dependency.
You just need some diversion. Buying just a small amount like a pint or six pack will only prime the pump. You just have to quit for awhile, work hard at something that is fairly mindless but allows you to see the results of your efforts. A zero turn lawn mower, 10 acres, a tiller and a big arse gas powered weed eater will do wonders and are a lot cheaper than many so callled solutions.

Have you thought about doing some blow while you’re binge drinking?
