Learn to drink in moderation. If you can’t do that then you probably need to quit or take a long break.

Only 2 ways to stop. Completely quit or only have a slight amount of alcohol at your house where it's not even close enough to get drunk and limit it to that. Either way it sounds like quiting is the better option and your body will thank you

He's right in a lot of cases. Getting to go to work provided a lot of relief to guys from the nagging. Being forced into the same place, where the wife can't just bitch at you eight hours a day, she gets 24 hours a day to roll you, it's not good.
