That is absolutely retarded and the guy who buys it is a dumbass. Those types are exactly who should be blamed for ridiculous vehicle prices.

Neighbor just spent $73,000 on a new Tundra. I just don’t get it.

You can get a 4Runner or Tacoma for under $50k....and even those are overkill for what most Tundra drivers do.

I'd also put my money on a 4Runner outlasting the new turbocharged Tundra by a significant margin.

Lol I work at a Chevy dealership and that's ridiculous. Most probably the owners truck with those mods. Sad part is the salesman won't make shite on that deal.

I priced out a Tundra on their website. SR5, stripped to the bone, with the only added option being 4WD was $55,497. You can easily build a Capstone up to $85K.

see the poors are acting out again

By poors acting out again I assume you mean the plebes who buy these trucks .

Few people can afford this. Fewer people need a truck like this, and even fewer people will actually use the truck any differently than the sedan they can actually afford.

It's all a dog and pony show.

That's insane. $70K @6.4% for 84 months is $1,036/month. You'd have to be semi-retarded to pay that for 7 years.

Well literally nobody is going to do that though. They will get sick of it after a couple years and get rid of it/burn it/etc.

South LA is ate up with the oversized truck mentality. People working office jobs driving giant arse truck they need a ladder to climb into. Gotta look like Billy bad arse driving up to the ball fields

We could save some costs, time and headache if we just eliminated the salesman.

That must have been a pretty serious trip/adventure you considered back in 2011.

The only thing crazier than 92K for a pickup truck is that some poor "destin to be broke" person will finance this thing for 96 months at 8-12% interest. And feel good about it.

Nothing parts faster than a fool and their money .

Less salary, commission and overhead for the dealership = less costs

Time? How

Cause I’m going to end up negotiating with the “finance manager” anyways. Just take me straight to him. Also, the salesmen usually know less than I do about the car I’m looking at. He’s just wasting my time.

Headache from negotiating with the Salesman, who has to get up and walk to his manager on every negotiating point. Headache from salesman not being able to answer my questions due to lack of knowledge on the car he’s selling.
