The $1 donations are f'in brilliant.
A childhood friend of mine worked for several decades raising money for assorted elite institutions and Ivy League colleges. The highest she rose to was to be the person in charge of the one to five million donors. At least one place had two job openings above her with access to the college jets.

I agree with you, but I can’t really fault conservatives for enjoying the schadenfreude when the shoe is on the other foot for once. They didn’t start this. And if these Harvard brats would learn their lesson from it then I think you could argue that good will come from this.
Unfortunately the lesson the Harvard kids are gonna take is that they need to be the ones doing the cancelling.
