Should not have let Clarence go out of principle but most of the listeners are at home all day on ventilators and disability. The average white collar guy doesnt listen. But I loved...me...some...Clarence...gang.

I sensed they were going in the wrong direction when they switched being affiliated with WAFB to WBRZ and having useless traffic reports. Bill pushed the line a bit with some of his rants. I am surprised they let Gallagher go and didn't just put him with Haldane. Sucks for Clarence because he seems like good people. I wonder if they are getting rid of Bill's wife's show on the weekends as well. They had that douchebag Ramsey on at 4 when I got off work today, so I hope they haven't pushed Markley and VanCamp back an hour, because then I really have no reason to listen to the station.

On air personalities aside, the production on this station is the most piss poor I have ever heard. Love the Friday afternoon traffic replaying on Monday mornings, local spots playing at the same time as national spots, always 10 seconds off when going to the national news at the top of the hour, etc. I say this because I would hate to think they are having a hard time selling ads and the on air talent is taking the blame.

Not only that but half the time the BRZ spots are recorded from their video feed whereas the AFB ones were all done for radio.

Same here. Haldane is okay but he can't carry the show by himself. Both Kevin and Bill were better at flying solo than Haldane has been this week.

Welcome to having no reason to listen. Haldane mentioned this morning that they are pushing Markley and VanCamp to 6pm.
Whoever made this decision is a fricking moron. Why? Because Spring ratings are just around the corner, only a moron fricks with their lineup, clock, format, etc right BEFORE a ratings period begins. If you're going to do it, you do it after the numbers come out (thus you have justification).
Bill and Kevin did a great job of keeping up with not just our state-level representation but most of the members of Congress over this area had their own LIVE weekly call-in slot. Far more often than not I heard something straight from the politician (ex: Graves on the duplication of benefits issue, Comite Diversion Project, etc) well before it made it onto the local tv news.
My morning routine was to have them on the radio while getting ready. Even if I was running late (ie: after 8am) I was still able to get LOCAL news, weather and traffic before heading out the door.
Now I catch the tail end of local stuff because Haldane is replaced by Brian Kilmeade at 8 and any weather/traffic has to be squeezed into the time constraints of a network break.
During my evening drive home Markley and VanCamp's show has kept enough of my attention that I don't focus overmuch on the fricktasticness of Baton Rouge traffic. It was a little bit of current topics but mixed in with humor and other conversations. Now they've moved them back to 6pm just so another Fox regular (Tom Shillue) can be on. frick, at least bring back Jim Bohannon or move up Lars Larson.
This morning Haldane was begging people to give Shillue a chance. You know it's bad when your new morning talk guy is having to Shill(ue) for your new afternoon show.
I'm already turned off by Haldane this week. I'll give Shillue a shot but am not too optimistic considering the other moves that have been done.
Funny thing how Gordy has his own 1-hour show in Saturday nights at 7pm though. I wonder if he'll talk about these shitty decisions on it? If he does, will anyone even know?
