I actually met at the Beverly Hills hotel many years ago. We came off as really nice down to earth guy. He actually introduced himself to me as if I didn't know who he was. Could not have been nicer.( I really don't give a frick about Stars etc, my wife wanted to see them, and of course I didn't and yet was bumping to them everywhere.)
I remember saying to one of valets he seemed liked a really nice guy, and he said he was one of nicest down to earth famous actors in town, and used to park cars at the hotel when he was a kid, and people said he had barely changed.
Always one of my favorite actors even before then.
Prayers to his family, and may he RIP. He was not even old. This really sucks

Oh man. This is so sad to hear. He was so good in BIg Love- that was my favorite role of his among many. RIP.

Ahhh. I've always enjoyed Tombstone. My GAF meter doesn't register when a liberal actor/ actress dies. Bill Paxton is not a household name for me, but I'm also not a movie guy.
