self interests have always been the greatest motivator of men, whether it's Caeser, Hitler, Kanye West, or Alexander the Great

agree with all of this.

Good. that would hold us back tremendously.

This country was based on individual effort/performance. Those that understand that still thrive.

Those that dont, beg government to restrict the wealthy..

this is true, but history has also proven that those in power will do whatever they can to increase that power and hold others down.

even if someone else is more capable. would Alexander the Great have been remembered if his father wasn't Philip II?

how are we to know he would've accomplished what he did if he was just born today rather than being the son of a king and inheriting an empire and an army?

as with everything, nothing is black and white. there are shades of grey of all levels.

would Elon be the richest man on earth if his parents weren't rich? would Trump be president if his father wasn't wealthy? Anyone being semi honest wouldn't declare with any certainty that either would be true.

the most powerful Democratic principle in world is the concept of the "Dollar vote." We choose who gets our money, and we choose poorly.

The Pandemic was the greatest corporate share grab in history, with Massive corporations making record profits, while small business was closing down.

I dont take people seriously who want govt to do their dirty work, because they are too lazy to be responsible to their own values.

The pursestring controls all of this. No one, Bush, Obama, Trump, Biden did jack shite about it. And they wont.

Its up to individuals to reward businesses, and protectionist policies destroy some of that opportunity. We are going backwards.

This rings true.

Small business participation has declined in federal government by 40% from 2010 to 2020.

The world's largest customer, largely due to the extreme laziness of government procurement officials, only wants to award contracts to large corporations.

Of course, cost has increased.

That should shock all of us.

The Govt is setting up a technocracy with high tech and big corporations. Small business doesnt stand much of a chance anymore.

A billion seconds from now will be in over thirty years.

A million makes you rich, yes, but far closer to homeless than to a billion.

Entrepreneurs create them when an opportunity presents itself. That’s the beauty of capitalism.
