They truly believe this.
They cannot distinguish between wealth and income. A billionaires wealth can be wiped out overnight in the markets.

I don't think anyone is simping for them. Suggesting someone is a moron for vilifying (conservative) billionaires is not that.
Between Tesla and SpaceX Musk has created about 140,000 good/great jobs (probably close to 250,000 when you include those who are contractors who build the buildings, etc) and advanced our society in many many ways. The fricking gall, right?
How many jobs you created, Billy Boy?

You are economically illiterate.

You’ve been tricked by the government and right wing influencers baw
If a king owns a gold mine and his peasants subsistence farm and one peasant decides to make chairs and the king buys them with gold, that didn’t create more wealth, that only fractionalizes the wealth of the king and disperses it
Assuming the king buys enough from different peasants home based businesses well now you have an economy and peasants can sell goods to each other and now you have a merchant class where some peasants still farm and some blacksmith and some build furniture and on and on. As specialization occurs the original wealth is spread out but the total amount of gold is the same. If the king suddenly buys a bunch of stuff with his gold ie “money printing”, everyone is not more wealthy, the total economy experiences inflation. If the king wants to buy every sword for example, and puts a lot of gold out, the price of swords goes up but also the price of plows and scythes due to labor and iron diverted to gold therefore the price of grain and bread goes up
Wealth is a zero sum game
ETA: Adam was the wealthiest man as God gave him dominion over the whole earth. You can’t say you have it better than Adam due to having a Chinese tv and Netflix slop to watch

From the far right outlet called google:
No, wealth is not a zero-sum game. In fact, wealth creation is a positive-sum game, meaning that everyone can benefit.
In a market economy, wealth is created through voluntary exchanges that benefit both parties.
The economy grows as society creates more goods and services through innovation, entrepreneurship, and the free exchange of goods and services.
The more wealth that is created, the more resources and opportunities are available to everyone.
Trade is an example of a positive-sum game, where some people may lose jobs, but the overall benefit is greater.
The idea that wealth is zero-sum is a fallacy that fails to take into account the principles of wealth creation and voluntary exchange

Yes the beauty of wealth creation is that I can choose to live in air conditioning and still have the option to live off the grid or homestead.
